Your design is very unique and very appealing. The contours look ergonomic and the product looks very stylish. Your finish also looks very good on your product poster. Very good alternative to the original design.
Hey Andre, this was a very unique hand tool to chose for this project. Nonetheless it was a good resolution to the issues you raised in your talk. In moulding it with a metallic material, strength and weight is definitely achieved here when stripping paint - which is exactly what is needed. I think though that due to its size, it may be targeted towards a more industrial or builder's market than domestic use. All in all, a great design!
I love the flow in this form, and the way you rest the hand guard on the material for the ideal scraping angle. I have done quite alot of paint scraping and I now wish that I had this in the past. As most people don't have the means to sharpen the head disposable blades would have been good I think.
This is a great solution to the traditional uncomfortable paint scraper, the handel is very functional in providing a better grip.Possibly the handle could be slightly more rounded to enhance the comfort of hold it in your hand, maybe even have a grip. Amazing job!

ReplyDeletethe only slight improvement i would suggest would be a hand grip, so the user knows where to place there hand
